What are your artwork requirements?

Great question! We have a page that lays it all out, here.

How large of a print can Ambrose produce?

We can print up to 13” x 15”.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders up to 1000 garments can take 8-10 business days to fulfill. Please contact us for turnaround times for orders larger than 1000 pieces.

What brands do you carry?

Our suppliers stock just about every brand you can think of. Our favorites are Bella+Canvas, Next Level and Gildan.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can square up your invoices with cash, checks or by credit card!

Do you outsource or print in house?

Everything is printed in Grand Rapids, MI by our Ambrose team.

I don’t have a design, yet. Can you help?

Is Ambrose a part of WMCAT?

Yes! Ambrose at WMCAT is WMCAT’s first social enterprise. We’re a commercial screen-printing and custom design business that employs and mentors young people by giving them a hands-on experience in the world of leadership and small-business ownership.

Artwork Requirements

Send us your “print-ready” artwork! What does that mean? We consider “print-ready” to be vector artwork in these file formats: 

  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
  • Adobe Photoshop (.psd)
  • .EPS
  • .SVG. 

Ideally, all artwork is scaled to size, all type is outlined and colors are be labeled with our ink colors or Pantone numbers. Consult with us about line thickness, font sizes and halftoning detail to make sure your artwork comes out amazing.

Don’t know what any of that gibberish means? NO problem! 

We can work with .JPGs, .GIFs, .PDFs and even screenshots. With your guidance, we can make it work. Please know that these will all need to be recreated and are subject to our design fee ($10/15-min). Consult with us to see what the design fee may end up being for your artwork.

Terms & Conditions

  • By providing your organization’s artwork you are giving us permission to print your logo and will dictate to us any requirements to stay within the brand parameters.
  • All artwork files will be stored in our secure online storage system and will be reused only for reprinting of your job. 
  • We will not sell or reuse artwork that was crafted for your printing project for another client.
  • We maintain the right to showcase your artwork on our portfolio, social media channels, for marketing and promotion campaigns, and any other situations not mentioned that we deem appropriate.
  • We maintain all rights and ownership of all altered, recreated, or original artwork. Design fees do not grant clients rights or ownership to the artwork file. Rights, transfer of ownership, and native/original files can be purchased from us upon special request.
  • For projects with hard deadlines: Responding within the same business day as approvals are sent will keep your project on track with your order’s original schedule. 
  • A delay in approval could result in a delay of production and rush charges could apply.
  • By approving your final quote and mockup you are saying that you have reviewed your mockup, quantities and quote amount,  brought any mistakes to our attention, and are satisfied with your order as we have presented it.
  • Any alterations to your order after approval may not be guaranteed. If they can be accommodated, a rush fee will apply to the additions or a, up to, a complete restart on your turnaround timer. If you are removing garments and the garments have already been ordered, you are still responsible for covering the cost of the garments & possibly printing fees.
  • We do reserve the right switch garments to a close match if inventory is unavailable at all 3 of our suppliers. We WILL notify you and get your approval of the garment change prior to changing garments and adjusting the cost for the new garments.
  • Sales tax will be charged unless we have a “Michigan Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption” on file.
  • Invoices not paid within 30 days will be charged a 1.5% per month (18% per year) late fee. 
  • By providing us with your contact information, you are agreeing to be included in our quarterly newsletter. You have the right to opt-out of any or all of these communications at any time through the “opt-out” feature, which is typically located at the bottom of emails you receive from us.
  • Ambrose at WMCAT respects our customer’s account information as private and confidential information and will never share this with any outside afflictions or individuals. Learn more here.
